Chapter 70

"Don’t leave!” Damon who was dazedly listening to the sleeping woman, was suddenly grabbed in his arms.

He watched as Anya opened her eyes and drew breath by breath. She too fell in a daze as she stared at him.

Damon still can’t believe what he heard.

After he was finished with his work, he decided to drop by to the hospital and check on Anya and her grandmother.

When he arrived, he coincidently met Marie on her way out from Grandma Laurier’ room.

She said Anya was asleep and was very tired.

Damon glanced at the open door and saw Anya uncomfortably sleeping in the sofa. He felt conflicted seeing her pitifully sleeping in the sofa.

Marie also looked back and saw him staring at Anya.

Actually, she felt shock when she saw Damon. She thought Damon had cut all ties with Anya. Him being here means she still means a lot to Damon. So, Marie had an idea.
