As he strolls towards the water, I secretly wish it's cold enough to provide the relief I desperately need.

"We are going slowly," I think to myself, finding it too sluggish. "I could do it at my own pace."

Now in the water, he moves slowly until it covers me up to my chest.

"Life is unfair," he remarks.

Returning to the surface, I gasp for air, exclaiming, "That was cold as heck!"

He agrees, brushing my hair from my face. "You needed it."
