Lexcis cleans my hair and kisses me every once in a while. I move to wash his hair, and he pulls me up on his lap.

"Do you have your vows ready?" He asks me with a sly grin.

"No, I did not get them ready. Do you have any?"

I try to stop him from shaking his head because he is getting water all over me.

"No. I don’t need a script. I will say what is on my mind."

As I stop dumping water over his head, I look at him blankly and ask, "Heart?"

"I said head."

"No," I say with a small smile and a shake of my head. "You said heart, I heard you."

"You are hearing things," he says with a roll of the eyes.

"Yes, correct things."

He kisses me again and loosens the towel around me so he can get to my chest area more easily. This stops me from talking about it any further.
