Zave, our second, and Aldric, our first, arranged our seats next to each other on the platform. As soon as we sit down, Lexcis takes my hand in his.

I hear him say in my ear, "You look amazing."

"Well, you clean up nice too, I guess," I smile, teasingly.

I am going crazy from the fun in his eyes. He squeezes my hand and squints his eyes a little. I push back; that game can be played by two.

Right away, he looks around to see if any of the cameras got that. They did, of course.

"What? Is it some kind of curse?" I inquire with a playful tone.

"No, you just did something," he says with a smile that he tries to hide from the cameras. There is likely something you do not want other people to know.

"What-" I start to say.

Laurence says, "Starting with the bride."

"Where do you want it?" He speaks in a whisper.
