"Do you mean realized? That is a weird way to frame your inquiry. I believe it would be more acceptable to inquire if any of us felt that way, or-" Lexcis interrupts with a smirk, gently pulling me closer.
"Fucking hell, lady." He teases, raising an eyebrow. "Have you mentioned it or not?"
"Yes," I blurted out, feeling Lexcis's fingers tracing patterns on my waist.
"Did he say it back?" Mera asks abruptly, leaning in with curiosity.
"I'm not sure. Did I?" Lexcis whispers to me, tugging my hair to one side. Resting his chin on my shoulder, he wraps his arms around my waist. Basically, he didn't respond since he said it first. "Well, no."
I quickly clarify, "Technically, I was the one who said it back. Now there are no more questions." I add playfully, "This is too intimate."
"Finally!" they chant, and Mera nudges me
