Chapter 296. Prove Something

Every individual looks like a little ant; they are so far away from my vision that it is frightening. The sun is rising as usual, yet it is not blinding me at all. There is snow everywhere, and it is mesmerizing. Each snowflake is unique.

The bright Aedenese village is painted in white and blue. Dozens of trees seem white due to snowflakes stuck to the foliage. Some part of me wants to go outdoors and appreciate it while I can. I was never permitted to go outside and play in the snow, and anytime I did, I would freeze. But I am older and can not do stuff like that anymore. It will not feel the same way.

My gaze shifts back to the small desk next to me. There are a few cosmetics here that can help me appear more lively, so that is exactly what I do. Just to add a little color to my face.
