I quickly join in when I catch on to their game.

"I see someone has already caught your eye," the older man remarks to the younger one, a sly smile forming.

"Can you blame me? She's practically asking for it with that dress," the younger one responds with a grin.

God, please don't give me any more strength than I already have, because even a little more might make me snap and strangle this guy before we find out why we're here.

"Those two ladies over there look damn hot too," the older man adds, gesturing towards the other women in the room.

It's as if they can't think straight without a girl on their lap. Idiots.

"Ah, there goes your girl," the older man says with a chuckle, nodding towards Chantel.

I unconsciously follow his gaze to Chantel and realize what he means. Chantel is shamelessly flirting with Mera, sensing his interest in her is waning.
