He's crying out in pain, but it only sounds like music to my ears.

"Apologize!" I scream into his ear through gritted teeth. "Beg for your life." I throw him in front of Chantel, and she seems perplexed.

The man instantly clings onto her legs, causing her to flinch. I bring my leg down on his arm, hearing a satisfying crack. He removes his hands off of her and begins to pathetically beg. "I'm so sorry. I didn't want to hurt you. I'm sorry. Please-"

I place my gun against his head, pushing it against him, "Louder."

He screams, becoming entirely incoherent; nothing he says is making sense anymore.

"Close your eyes."

I pull the trigger.
