"Oh come on guys! I can protect myself. But I'm not saying that you need to stay here. I want you to come with me."

"Oh?" Eli lets out, his expression softening with surprise.

"Yes. You can come along! The museum and art gallery will be empty, I made sure of that. Only the restaurant may be crowded but I'm sure we can-"

"A few of our men went ahead to get that done," Dane says, a hint of pride in his voice.

"Oh. Okay. Thank you!"

"So we're coming too?" Eli inquires to confirm.

"Yes, of course!" I nod excitedly, relief washing over me that they'll accompany me.

"Good." They both nod, still a little confused that I didn't make them stay here.

"Alright," I chuckle. "I'm going to the conference room now and I'll come to get you two-"

"We'll be right behind you."
