Veronica crouches down, kisses my forehead, blows a kiss to Lexcis since he's behind me, and leaves.

"She didn't even question why we were sleeping here." I frown, amused by my sister's nonchalant demeanor.

"If they're going to question every single thing we do they'd be busy asking shit forever," I quip, rolling my eyes playfully.

"That makes sense I gue-" I'm silenced when Lexcis moves on top of me, peppering kisses all over my face, cheeks, and chest, his lips leaving a trail of warmth that sends shivers down my spine.
