Before we can worry too much about the baby, we're already on the move. "It's going to take us double the time. Which means three hours in total instead of one and a half. From there on we'll continue with normal cars to the palace."

From the corner of my eye I see other people and camels behind us, "Your guards," Theo explains. "They refused to let you go alone."

"They're sweet like that," Chantel laughs. She gently lifts the thick scarf and looks at Ayla, "She's asleep. That's good, right? Lexcis?"

"Yes, darling. That's good. She'll probably be asleep the entire time. Babies love doing that." I tease.

"Lexcis... I know that but we're literally in the middle of fucking nowhere. No offense," she says to Theo.
