Chapter 744. Mask

When we step out of the bedroom and walk through the hallway four things happen. Four odd things. Things that I hadn't expected.

One, as if on cue my siblings are making their way toward us. Probably to check up on me. Aldric's with them too.

Two, I see Arcane rushing to us with something in this mouth.

Three, the thing in his mouth is a mask. A mask from a masquerade ball. To be even more specific, it's Damon' mask from that god-awful ball.

Four, I think I just peed myself.

I halt. Not knowing what's more important. The fact that I peed myself or the fact that Damon just sent me a fucking message with that mask. I take it from Arcane's mouth and put it in the pocket of my dress before Lexcis can see it.

I'll tell him later.

Later because if I am correct, my water just broke. Which means I am only a few hours away from giving birth. Hours! Instead of weeks.
