"Are you talking to me?"

He smirks, "Yea, I said you're beautiful."

Normally, I'd thank him and move on. But something about the way he says it pisses me off. So I reply differently, "I know." I am about to turn back around and leave when he speaks again.

"If you're free tonight..."

"What?" I almost throw up and chuckle at the same time when I hear him say it. He seems to get a kick out of that look on my face because he confidently repeats his statement.

I don't look at him again, I leave. Stepping toward the others at the table. Seriously, we're at a royal gala and there are still sickening men present. I take pleasure in the fact that Dane stays behind for a few more seconds, probably scaring that man to death.

I settle beside Lexcis, at the far end of the ballroom, right beside the Queens' table. I note that they haven't arrived yet.<
