Chapter 24
“I am sorry from the bottom of my heart, sir.” Marker David, Troy’s assistant, was frantically running in a circle around Troy’s room. “Please forgive me. Help!”
“You asshole,” mumbling, Troy threw another pillow at his assistant, who returned from the vacation he went on to escape his boss’s wrath “It’s because of you that we are in this situation. How dare you release a statement like that and then run away?” In anger, Troy picked up the nearby lamp from the nightstand.
Marker’s eyes widened in fear. “Sorry, sorry, sir. Please don’t throw that. I will get a concussion if it hits me. Then you will be the one paying the medical fees. Pity this innocent face,” he begged.
“Innocent? My foo-” he was interrupted by Danica, who stepped into his room to the sound of Marker’s pleads for help.
“Troy?” she let out and gasped seeing the lamp on his hand which he was about to throw.
Immediately, Troy placed the lamp back to where it belonged. He chuckled nervously
