Chapter 57. Lost Control

Evelyn’s POV

I stood there, just outside his door, my hand hovering near the wood as I wrestled with what to do next since he still wasn’t opening.

I didn’t want to believe it what Ava said that he was seriously craving me.

Still, I stayed, hoping Nathan would open the door. Not because of Ava’s voice in my head, but because I was worried.

He hadn’t looked well at dinner, and now, he just didn’t want to open.

I bit my lip and sighed, deciding to call his name one more time. Just one last time.
