I was confused, I just stood there in shock and confusion at what Caleb said.

“What do you mean he’s been investigating the Nightshade pack?”

As usual, Caleb kept mute, remaining silent. This wasn’t the time for silence.

“This isn’t the time to keep quiet, Caleb!” Sophia interjected, she was already getting worried too.

“Do you want what happened seven years ago to happen to him again? And it’ll be on your conscience!” I yelled.
