Evelyn’s POV

Eliza looked nothing like the woman I once knew. Time had worn her down in ways I couldn’t understand, and seeing her like this unsettled me.

But that wasn’t why I was here.

She was the last person I ever expected to see, let alone in this place—the same place Nathan had tracked a lead about the missing omegas.
