Chapter 20. Letter of Acceptance
Robin frowned in annoyance as he walked into the study. These days, this is where I find comfort, in the books of my father. My father was indeed a marvelous writer and a wide intellectual reader. His books had a way of captivating his readers. "This has been sent in by the crescents, Skye and it's directed to you," he said.
"I'm sure you know what to do with it," I responded still engulfed in one of my father's books and he stared at me dumbly.
I took one glance at him and returned to my reading. "Read it out loud," I said to him.
"I'm afraid I cannot obey you this time, Skye," he replied, and I gave him a hard look. "Forgive me, alpha," he said lowering his head. "But, I cannot read out this abominable letter." he added.
I stared at him skeptically. "Bring it," I replied, gesturing to the table.
