Chapter 19. Truth Revealed

"Rogue wolves," I said looking away with a scowl on my face.

"What?" She asked baffled by my words and the deep frown on my face. I wondered if the rogue wolves knew she was my mate and decided to attack her to get back at me.

I looked back at her. "I don't know why a rogue wolf attacked you but this is real, Ava. If you doubt me so much, why don't you ask your uncle?" I said to her.

"Ava, are you okay in there?" I heard Phil's voice at the door.

"I'm, I'm fine." She stuttered as she looked at the door.

She turned to me. "Leave now."

"You have to ask, Ava, to at least find out if all that I've said so far are lies," I said, releasing my hold on her.

"I can hear voices in there, Ava. Open the door or I'll force my way in," he said again.

I walked towards the window. 

"Ask," I said for the last time before swinging onto the branch of the tree outside her cabin.
