Chapter 31. Natasha’s Return

Skye's POV

I resisted the urge to meet with Ava last night after the mild argument we had that afternoon but seeing her this morning, her hair up in her usual ponytail and in those tight fitting black jeans and jacket, I couldn't resist her anymore. She was extremely beautiful each time I looked at her. I felt a burning desire in my heart that I couldn't explain. 

Her lips were always inviting anytime I saw her. She had a way of keeping me mesmerized.

She walked past the olive trees and delved deeper into the woods. I looked away from the window and walked out the door, with an intent to follow her.

Getting outside the house, a cold wind blew past me and I realized the weather was still cold. In my haste to catch up with her, I had forgotten my jacket.

I walked through the snow, it was way too steep for human legs so I shifted into my wolf form. It was easier catching up with Ava this way. I caught a sniff of her scent in the air and in no time I f
