Chapter 35. His Acceptance
Her hair was in disarray and covered her face but could not disguise her exquisite loveliness. She opened her eyes and stared at me sheepishly for the first time without hate, anger, or remorse.
In a way, she revealed her emotional side, the soft and fragile Ava and not the feisty one I know.
"I had no idea on how to treat a man or the ways of pleasing him," she said, staring at me with those innocent eyes.
I pulled her closer to myself and stroked her arm as I kissed her forehead. How could I explain to her what I've grasped a long time ago? I didn't want to give her the impression that she didn't perform well. Despite her inexperience, in her own way she had done well than the experienced ones I've ever been with.
"Your inexperience does not change you, love," I said to her.
Her head was on my chest and I could feel her heart beating down my rib. We both savored the moment having no knowledge of what tomorrow had in store for us.
