Claire’s POV

I sighed and told him what had happened at my parent’s house the night we arrived in Italy.

“Did she really do that?” he scoffed.

“Arlo, why don’t we give her another chance,” I said.

“You are a queen of second chance, Claire,” he rolled his eyes at me, “But what if she is faking it, planning another way to destroy you? You know that what she did almost put you in danger,” he reminded me, I know Arlo was just being cautious for me.

“I hope not, Arlo. I hope she is really sincere about it, but I wanted to trust my brother. He knew that Marjorie changed, besides I met up with them the other day, and so far I feel like she is sincere,” I said. I don’t want to doubt the sincerity I saw in Marjorie’s eyes.

Well, I really hope that my intuition about her is true. I don’t want to be disappointed with her again and to be honest; I want to build a new relationship with her as my sister-in-law.
