Chapter 137

Claire’s POV

Everything happened so quickly. As I was about to give birth the door of the emergency room opened and revealed Luke. “I’m so sorry. I didn’t answer your call,” he said.

“I’m so pissed earlier, but it’s fine now that you’re here already,” I said.

Luke held my hands as I gave birth to our baby boy. Luke should think of a name now. I know everything happened quickly. I’m not supposed to give birth here in Singapore, but it happened already. I think we’re staying a little bit longer.

I was exhausted, until the nurse put the baby on my chest. He was crying, and hearing his cries made me cry.

“It’s fine now, love. look at him,” Luke said happily.

“He got your eyes,” Luke said, emotional as well.

“He’s so tiny,” I said.

“It’s fine, he’s going to be fine,” Luke assured me.

The nurses took the baby with me so they could put him in the NICU, and I drifted to sleep.
