Claire’s POV

Cole and I continued to talk about what happened in the past months. It was a sad thing to talk about but I was happy to see how regretful Cole was. I saw how much he changed his perspective in life now.

I think it was time for me to ask about Marjorie.

“How is she?” I asked him.

“She’s fine, she’s always mad. But I feel her, her life is way more different now that she’s struggling to walk but we’re hopeful in her therapy,” Cole said.

“Is she sorry?” I asked, hoping that Marjorie is sorry for what she had done.

“I hope so, I hope she really regrets what she did, after all this wouldn’t happen if she didn’t try to hurt you,” Cole said.

“Maybe she got mad at me even more,” I scoffed, “Imagine it backfired at her. Karma works well huh?” I shook my head, “Why did she do it, Cole? Does she say something about the incident to you?” I continued.

“Her mouth is still close to the incident, maybe she was embarrassed about wha
