Luke’s POV

“Wait—” I said.

“Stop it, Luke,” Arlo said, getting annoyed when I saw Claire walking out of my room.

“Should I give up?” I asked him, “But my heart says don’t because I really love her, but seeing her right now, who seems so uninterested to me made me feel like I’m forcing myself too much in her life,” I said, being emotional.

“You know what? You cried tons of tears already for Claire,” Mia said.

“I love her, do you think she still loves me?”

“I hope so,” Arlo said.

“I don’t want to give up, help me guys, help me make her fall in love with me again,” I said.

I saw how Arlo sighed, and Mia chuckled. I know they would probably think of me as someone who’s martyr in love but it wasn’t just like that. I also want to make up for all my shortcomings, for all my mistakes, for all the pain I’ve caused her.
