Chapter 109

Claire’s POV

It was a tiring flight going back home. I’ll surely miss hanging out with Belle and Miah. We are now in Caleb’s car since he was the one who picked us up at the airport.

“Welcome back,” Caleb told Luke as if he was so fed up with him and I saw how Luke chuckled. Since I left for Italy I noticed how their relationship grew, Luke and my brother Caleb got closer. Maybe because of their work.

Caleb drove us to our family house, and I was eager to see my parents again. I know that they were very supportive of me finding peace for the meantime in Italy but I really missed having them around me.

Luke and Caleb got into a serious conversation about work in the car and I let them be in their own world first while I was thinking about Cole. I should visit him sooner too, I wonder how he and Marjorie are.
