Claire’s POV

“Nice to be back home,” he sat on the couch.

I asked how his day was, and he told me it was quite hectic. I wanted to tell him about my conversation with Jasper but I might ruin his mood, but something in me doesn’t want to hide it from him.

“Luke, can I tell you something?” I asked him.

“Anything, come here,” he made me sit beside him on the couch and I did so.

“Don’t be mad,” I said nervously.

“Did you talk to Jasper?” He immediately asked me, and I couldn’t talk for a moment as I saw the disappointment in his face, “You meet him? I told you not to,” he sighed in frustration.

“I didn’t. You know I was with Cole and Marjorie all day, it’s just that I didn’t know that he was coming. I mean nobody knows he’s coming, we were all surprised when he got there,” I quickly explained.

“So what did he tell you?” He asked.

“The usual, but don’t worry I cleared things with him. He was just mad when he saw the video,” I s
