Chapter 49

Claire’s POV

I went back to the dance floor, the man earlier was nowhere to be found already. Thank goodness, but another handsome man was standing next to me, staring and smiling at me.

I smiled back at him, until he grabbed me by my waist and gave me a quick kiss. I laughed after the kiss. My friends were nowhere to be found, the man was about to kiss me again but before he did I saw him on the floor already.

I was laughing, confused at what was happening around me because of the alcohol until I saw Luke grab me by my hands, pulling me out of the dance floor until we got out of the bar.

“What just happened?” I asked, laughing.

“We’re going home. You’re too drunk again,” Luke said sternly.

“Oh! He’s mad,” I continued laughing.

Luke carried me to his car, I kept mumbling and ranting inside his car while he was driving.

“It was a good kiss though,” I chuckled.
