Claire’s POV

“I love that you called me Mom,” Luke’s mom said, and I felt a little shy.

“We’re indeed a family now,” Luke’s mom said, and I saw Luke smiling at us as well.

It was already in the afternoon when we finished baking some cinnamon rolls. It was the softest cinnamon rolls I’ve ever had. It was different from what I used to make, and I guess I’ll change my recipe from now on.
