I have been standing here for longer than I should’ve. Hidden in the dim hallway and trying to listen to their conversation. I didn’t mean to overhear anything at first. I was just passing by after helping the healers with night duties, but when I heard Lucas’s angry voice, I stopped . Something in his tone told me this wasn’t just another argument between them.
