Something is wrong with Rain.
I don’t need proof. I can feel it. She smiled the same way, spoke the same way, even brushed her hand over my cheek like nothing had changed. But her eyes… her eyes had turned into something else. There was a stillness there now, a cold sort of distance that didn’t belong to the woman I loved. And no matter how many times I told myself I was overthinking it, my wolf wouldn’t calm down. I have tried to ignore it for days. I have tried to trust her words, her touch.
