Kieran's POV

9 Days Before the Execution.

Sienna's lips were soft against mine, warm and hesitant, like she wasn’t sure she deserved gentleness. I deepened the kiss just slightly, my fingers tracing the curve of her cheek as if memorizing it. She let out the faintest moan into my mouth, and the sound sent a tug through my chest, a pang I couldn't name.

This girl—this woman—was unraveling me in ways no one ever had.

When we parted, she stayed close. Her forehead rested against mine, and for a few seconds, the world was still Just her and me in the golden wash of morning.

But that peace was short-lived.

A knock came at the door. “Alpha” Jay Called from outside .

Sienna pulled back, concern flickering in her eyes.
