Sienna’s POV
6 Days Before the Execution.
The silence in my room felt too loud. Madam Tessa had just shown me to my new room based on Kieran’s orders and I must say this room is too big for a girl who might die in six days.
I sighed tiredly.
Even with the open window allowing in the soft hum of the evening breeze, the silence in my room was choking me like a weight pressing down on my chest.
It had been hours since Kieran left for the council meeting.
Too many hours.
I sat in front of the mirror, fingers absently combing through my hair as my mind ran wild with worry. I hadn’t meant to fix myself up, but I needed to do something—anything—to keep my hands from trembling.
