Chapter 345. The Darkness

I approached the cabin and could see from outside Chris leaning against the door, staring at the ceiling. Lucero, looking at the ground, with that look of fear that she couldn’t hide. Everyone was worried.
I ran to the entrance and shouted with excitement and growing joy.
“I’m here, I’m back!” I blurted out, almost laughing, because it was a miracle that I had been able to return.
I never would have imagined that I would see my friends again. None of them knew how to react. Lucero jumped on me and then, without even thinking about it, she kissed me. That surprised me so much that I took a few steps back. She turned pale.
“Well, so you have…” Chris started to say, his face looking like he was going to start interrogating me to find out all the details of what had happened.
