“I didn’t know, that’s why I told you: I didn’t know if you would come.” He laughed and I couldn’t help but laugh too.

“You’re a very unexpected person.” I murmured, as my eyes met his.

His penetrating gaze made my skin crawl. He didn’t say anything, at least not with words. But in my mind, I could hear everything. That things were just a misunderstanding, that he would never betray anyone, it would go against everything he was, everything he radiated. It was so subtle, his presence was not imposing or intimidating, but rather my admiration was for his elegance and beauty so unique that they could not be described in words.
