Her tone indicated that she didn’t want to keep reading, that something wanted to stop her. As if a part of her, her intuition, was telling her that she shouldn’t, that it wasn’t right. Every word in that book seemed to be a blasphemy. Zack had ordered it, it was up to her to kill me or let me live.
A whirlwind of emotions began to engulf me as the story unfolded in my own mind.
I really felt like I was hallucinating, because while she, with an almost hoarse voice, narrated, I could visualize everything around me. As if the great scenes of the story were rising before me. And I shrank before the doubts, the shadows and the crushing light.
“No one wants to be the bad guy in the story…” I murmured, softly.
