I didn’t talk to Jason all the way back to the kingdom. We were going fast because there were only two of us and we didn’t need to stop so often.

I couldn’t even fight with him. I was too scared. I wasn’t going to deny it, I was completely terrified of having to go back. There, any one of them could tear me to pieces. Both Zack and Plettekman would be looking for me.
