Gabriel’s POV

I heard footsteps and in as little as two minutes from when I walked from the crowd to now, Daniel appeared at my side. Once upon a time, that would have been a sensation to cherish, having a wolf like Daniel by your side, that was why I had chosen him over everybody else for the right to be my Beta. But in recent times, Cassandra was pulling us apart and this new sentimental sensitive policy and ideology of his is one of the things I suspected he had picked up from spending so much time with Cassandra. Or perhaps he was just like that.
