Gabriel’s POV

I stood at the table of my room staring at an old map and the book I so much cherished in my life. I had read it time and time again and the more I read it the more it intrigued me, the more its text mesmerized me and the more I get enchanted by what Aarav describes as its propaganda. I was still trying to recall the rest of that night when I was little and what Aarav and my father were saying about a picture frame.

It was odd to be fair, but if they so say there was a picture frame that was important and was somehow linked with the books, then it was of upmost importance that I did all that was in my power to find that book.

My wandering mind went to Cassandra. By the day, I felt like she was slipping away from me, like we were becoming more distant just as me and Daniel had become in recent times. Was there any chance that Daniel would be my Beta again?
