Debby left that salon practically blindly. She was hated to see Travor act so intimately with Cecil. She had understood that he was only acting that way because he considered that she had failed, that she had not been enough for him, and that now it consisted of being able to rub in his face that determined one would be worth more than her. He was still recovering from that shot in the last robbery in which they participated, and was still wearing makeup to cover the purples in his eyes after being punched by the group of women who saved Debby from his aggressions.
