"I need to show you some things about being an Alpha of the Cold Forest Pack," Juan said with a huge smile on his face as he held Sofia's hands. "It is important that I prepare you for your task as the new Alpha."

Sofia nodded in agreement. "Show me what I should do, and I will listen and follow as instructed."

"Good!' Juan said with a huge smile on his face. "Now, it is time for me to see how good you are in fighting. We need to practice and train. Come with me."

Juan led Sofia out into a large clearing in the forest, the morning sunlight filtering through the trees. "This is where we will spar and train your combat skills," he said, stretching his arms. "As Alpha, you must be a skilled fighter to protect the pack."

Sofia nodded seriously. "I'm ready. Show me what I need to know."

Juan grinned wolfishly. "First, we'll go over some fighting stances."
