Chapter 17. Her Prom Date

Alexander entered the locker room of the fight club and had just changed out of his street clothes when Mike Tyndall walked inside with a smile on his face.

“I’ve kept an easy fight for you tonight, Alexander. It shouldn’t last over two rounds. Your opponent is Knuckles from Arrowheads Fight Club. Here, you can check out his previous fights.” Mike started his laptop and showed him the videos.

True to Mike’s words, the fight lasted for two rounds of three minutes each. Alexander knocked out his opponent at the end of his second round and it rendered Knuckles unconscious. Alexander remained the reigning champion and won the fight.

He returned to his apartment to find a very agitated Lucas sitting in the living room. The moment he came inside, Lucas jumped up to his feet and went towards Alexander to inspect him.

“Are you okay?” he inspected him minutely for any injury.

“Yes. It was an easy fight.”
