Chapter 19. Lucas Confronts Alexander

Lucas trembled with fury as he glared at the piece of paper in his hands in disbelief. How could Alexander play with his little sister’s feelings? How could he betray his trust? He had trusted Alexander blindly, accepted him as a brother into his world, shared his stuff with him and this was what he got in return?

“Luke, I love him.” Serenity trembled with fear, knowing how protective Lucas was with her, how unpredictable he was. Her worst nightmares were coming true, and a shudder went down her spine seeing the dark and furious expression on his face. She didn’t worry about herself at all, not caring about the punishments he might give her, but feared for Alexander, knowing that he would never protest.

“How can you love that low-life? What do you know of love? You are innocent and inexperienced, not used to guys like him at all who can stoop to any level to get into your pants. I’m sure he must have brainwashed you into this. Don’t you understand that you’re nothing but a
