Chapter 20. Alexander Has Left

Lucas woke up the next morning with a heavy heart. He was wild with anger last night and took an extreme step in his temper. It was Sunday, and he felt a strange restlessness within him, forcing him to drive around aimlessly the whole day. He didn’t want to face Alexander at the dinner table, so he returned home late only to find out that Alexander hadn’t appeared for dinner. His parents were worried, as he had never missed an opportunity to spend time with them.

The next day, he woke up early to get ready for college. He didn’t want to go back to his apartment to face Alexander, but he had to go to get his books and get ready for college.
