Chapter 19. On Her Bed

They reached Colton’s apartment and Victoria went straight to her room to change. She searched through the clothes that Colton bought for her and found only a lavender-colored lace and satin chemise that was fit to sleep in. She rolled her eyes at his choice. Surely he would choose that for her! She locked her door and picked up the chemise and walked over to the en-suite to freshen up and change for bed. It fitted her perfectly and she loved the soft feel of the fabric on her skin.

Later, with nothing to do, she just lay on the comfortable bed and thought about what Colton might be up to in the next room.
