Chapter 47. Gearing Up

The next day, Serenity and Alexander invited his parents, Colton Young and Kelly, over to dinner and announced their wedding plans to them. Kelly had tears of happiness in her eyes, seeing her son finally fulfil his dreams of marrying Serenity. So, for the next two weeks, Serenity was busy with her wedding preparations. Her mom and aunt Kelly helped her. She chose Violet to be her maid of honour and Carmella and River, her bridesmaids.

Their parents called uncle Ethan and his family. Carmella was already married to Jaxon Craddock last year, and she had shifted with her husband to Long Beach, California. Tyler, and his wife River, agreed to come down to LA with their baby boy, Ryder, to attend her wedding. Serenity was eager to meet all of them after a year of staying away from her family. Last year had been full of downs for her and she hadn’t met her cousins, nor attended any of the family get-togethers. She knew they were all upset with her and she had a lot to make up for.<
