Chapter 31

Throughout the ride back to their home, Charles had been drumming his fingers on the steering and humming the song that was playing in the stereo. He was extremely happy to receive the good news of Aliza going pregnant. He couldn’t be with her, support her, and enjoy her pregnancy during the birth of their first child, but he wanted to make up for the lost time. He wanted to take care of Aliza and enjoy the blissfulness of fatherhood. Their son is almost okay now, free of cancer, and in a few months, they are going to welcome their second child. Charles’s happiness is boundless. He already has a son, and so he wishes for a beautiful princess now.
