Chapter 23

Yvonne's POV

The Alpha waits for everyone to settle down before he begins his speech. By then, Jack walks in. Ariana finds a separate place in the living room, sitting and doing her thing. She fiddles with her phone, not having any interest in what is going on around her.

"Ok, yeah!" He claps his hand, trying to get everyone's attention. All look up except Ariana who was pissed with what he said to her and doesn't even want to raise her face up.

"I'm sorry for what I did, please forgive me!" He says, indirectly trying to plead with Ariana. She shakes a bit, surprised. Still she wouldn't raise her face up, still on her phone. She must teach him a lesson, he can't act anyhow he likes just because he is the Alpha. He waits for a while hoping to receive a response from her but he doesn't get any, he moves on to the main course of the meeting.
