Chapter 58

"Are you ready to leave now?" Adrian asks.

"Yeah, let's go," Olive replies and gets up. "Aren't you guys coming?" She asks when she turns around and sees that we are still seated.

"We are, but not now," I reply.

"I could give you all a ride home if you want," Adrian offers.

"No, thanks, Sandra will give us a ride when we're ready to leave. You guys should go ahead."

"Are you sure?" Olive asks, giving me a confused look and I nod.

"Alright then, come on Olive," Adrian leads the way out of the restaurant and when Olive turns to look back at us, I give her a wink while Sandra gives her a thumbs up. Everyone stops what they are doing to stare after Adrian and Olive as they leave and I can bet that they are holding back the urge to follow them to Adrian's car.
