Chapter 61

After school, Miranda is called to Principal Harris' office. By the time she gets to the office, Miss Arbuckle is already there so Olive, Sandra and I stand behind the door to eavesdrop (not that we don't have important things to do). They ask her if she is okay and why she has been acting strange all day.

"I'm good, don't worry about me," Miranda tells them but Miss Arbuckle doesn't seem convinced.

"Are you sure? You didn't seem very good when you walked into my class this morning," she says.

"Relax, I'm fine. I was a little under the weather then but I can assure you I'm fine now."

"Are you sure?" Principal Harris asks with a questioning brow. She had also seen Miranda this morning in the 'state' she was in.

"Yes! Can I please go home now?"

"Yes, but remember that you can always talk to me if something's bothering you," Miss Arbuckle says, putting a hand on Miranda's shoulder. 

I agree with her on this one because she's a very approac
